Dora Mae Poulter Crabtree
Federal Way, WA. a" Dora Mae Poulter Crabtree, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away February 18, 2008 in Federal Way, Washington at the age of 91.
Dora Mae was born in Logan, Utah on June 15, 1916 to Mary Johanna Peterson and Moroni Carl Poulter.
She married Roland (Bill) Crabtree in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple on September 14, 1938. They moved to Seattle, Washington in 1942 where they raised their five children.
Dora Mae was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Temple worker in the Seattle Temple. She also served in the ward and stake Relief Societies and in the Primary organization. She was a visiting teacher until her stroke in 2001 at the age of 85.
She was a member of the Seattle Queen Anne Camp of the Daughters of the Pioneers and enjoyed participating in their service and social activities. Dora Mae also served in her community as a volunteer and an advocate for the mentally handicapped.
Dora Mae had many talents including, singing, crocheting, sewing, baking bread, candy making, and being a wonderful grandma.
She is survived by her sister Jeane Poulter Conrad of Menlo Park, CA; her sons, Roland of Shoreline, WA; Bruce (Tammy) and Kay of Federal Way, WA.; her daughters, Jeane (Roy) Holt of Lake Tapps, WA. And Lorene (David) Fullmer, West Jordan, Utah. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Dora Mae is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bill, who passed away in 1984.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends and family may call Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
