NORTH OGDEN a€" Dora Wilhelmina Hachmeister, 101, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at her home.

She was born August 10, 1908 in Brock, NE to Jacob Schmidt and Maria Katrina Lorentzen.

On February 20, 1933, Dora married Ernst Henry Hachmeister in Yankton, SD.

She was a member of the Lutheran church.

Dora enjoyed walking, watching her grandkids play sports, dining out, sharing old memories and visiting family. She loved cats, horses, watching Oprah and the Utah Jazz. Her favorite colors were red and blue. She enjoyed many fun times with her many friends.

She is survived by three sons, Jake (Glenda) Hachmeister, Ernie (Jean) Hachmeister, Carl (Margaret) Hachmeister; one daughter, Betty (Richard) Okelberry; 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, Fred "Fritz, John, William "Bill", August "Gus" and Henry Schmidt, and one sister Anna "Annie" Brewer.

The family expresses thanks and appreciation to Rocky Mountain Hospice, DeAnn, Todd, Chris, Mallory and others. Special thanks to David and Rita Marquez for all the care and help with our mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 15th at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends and family may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
