Doranna Prine

January 22, 1945 — January 26, 2018

Doranna Child Prine passed away at Davis Hospital in Layton, Utah Friday morning, January 26, 2018, after a long illness.  Doranna was born to Don and Mary Carpenter Child on January 22, 1945 in Alhambra, California.

She was married to Ed Bill and they had three sons.  They were later divorced.  She married  Ed Weyburn and they were later divorced.  She married Larry Prine who preceded her in death.

Doranna attended Davis High School. She was a seamstress.  She worked at American Playworld and was a Supervisor at Lifetime for 20 years.  She retired to take care of her dogs and cat.  She had many interests.  She loved to be outside working.  She was a member of the LDS Church.

She is survived by her son, Kirt (Becky) Bill, siblings; Donna Walker (A.K. Walker, deceased), Sharon (Dennis) Cook, Don (Sandy) Child, Mary Elaine (Larry) Franklin, Cindy Dickson, and five grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents, and her two sons; Bert and Gary Dean Bill.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Syracuse Cemetery.  Friends may visit with family from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.  Interment, Syracuse cemetery.

She will be missed so much by her family and her many friends.
