Doreen Cunliffe

Doreen Joy Cunliffe passed away on May 15, 2014 at the age of 56 at her home in Layton. She was surrounded by her family. Doreen was born in Lynwood, California on June 19, 1957 to De anna Dayle and Raymond Fox. Throughout her life she lived in California, Washington, South Carolina, Wyoming, and Utah.

She married Robert Allen Cunliffe on July 16, 1999. Together they traveled often; their favorite vacation was snorkeling in Hawaii. The love that they shared was a wonderful example to their families. Their marriage united their families and together they have nine children.

Doreen loved quilting, ceramics, and reading. She was a devoted fan of the UTES football team, she rarely missed a game. She enjoyed camping, hiking, and snowshoeing with her family. She loved her grandchildren with all of her heart. Her favorite treats were Mint M&M’s and ice cream and she was always willing to share her stash of goodies.

Doreen is survived by her parents; her husband of 14 years; their children Denise (Jared) Hone, Jandi (David) Dean, Marc Palmer, Lindsey (Jordan) Keller, Eric Larsen, Jared (Brandi) Cunliffe, David (Nichole) Cunliffe, Sean (Amber) Cunliffe, Ryan (Kess) Cunliffe; 15 grandchildren and one grandbaby on the way. Also surviving are her brothers; Denny R. Fox, Ronald E. Fox and Corey James Fox.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Iva Morgan; Lela and Ray Fox.

Friends may visit family Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

There will be a private service held for immediate family on Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
