Doris Mae Inama

April 19, 1923 ~ January 15, 2016

Doris Mae Inama passed away on January 15, 2016. She was born on April 19, 1923 in Spanish Fork to Frank Morris and Pauline Johnson Turner. She married the love of her life, Ernest C. Inama. Together they owned and operated Howe Rents rental store in Ogden.

Doris was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She was an avid sports fan who loved watching the Jazz. However, her favorite games and events were watching her nieces and nephews. She was like a mother to her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed gardening and loved playing with children. Doris had a summer home in West Yellowstone where she would like to feed the squirrels and take walks in the woods. She was the perfect hostess, who loved her visitors. She was the life of the party, singing and joking until the very end.

Doris is survived by four nephews and six nieces. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; four sisters; and one brother.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
