Doris Miller Johnson

Doris May Miller Johnson passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2010.

She was born April 2, 1922, in Tremonton, Utah to J. Wilford and Bessie Miller.

Doris married her sweetheart, Newell, on December 20, 1940 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

Her greatest love was her husband of 70 years, children and grandchildren.

Doris was a very active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings and organizations.

She was an excellent cook and loved cooking for her family. She loved to sew and made beautiful quilts.

Doris is survived by her husband, a son Greg (Leah) and daughter Dixie (Brent) Dabb, seven grand children and 18 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and one granddaughter.

At her request there will be no viewing or funeral services. Graveside services were held Saturday at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.
