Dorotha Dean Allred Kimber

Dorotha, 78, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2018.
She was born to Ruth Wilson and John Massengale. She was raised by her step-father, Merlin Allred.
She attended Ogden High School where she met her husband, Ted. They were married on December 23, 1955 and welcomed three daughters to their family.
Dorotha worked at Albertson’s bakery but took pride in being an amazing babysitter. She tended her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and neighborhood children.
She loved camping and spent summers at East Canyon resort relaxing in the pool. She was proud of her family and attending events that they participated in. Dorotha loved Elvis and the memorabilia given to her.
Dorotha is survived by her daughters, Beverly Westover, Terry (Gene) Bowers, Susan Kimber, her brother, John Massengale, sister-in-law, Carol Bowers, eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted and son-in-law, Floyd.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. The family will meet with friends Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 So.
