Dorothy Ann Bigham

Dorothy Ann Bigham of Bountiful, Utah, peacefully passed away September 20, 2014 at home, with her loving granddaughters and friends by her side.
She was born in Fullerton, California, January 22, 1930, the daughter of Lela T. Hall. Dorothy grew up in Lander, Wyoming, graduated from Fremont County Vocational High School and began a career as a legal secretary. While there she met and married the love of her life, Charles Bigham. They were married December 17, 1951 in Lander and raised one daughter, Susan Elaine.
Dorothy enjoyed singing and playing the piano, sewing, bridge, and hostessing luncheons for her bridge club and P.E.O. Sisters. She was member of Eastern Star, Chapter W of P.E.O., The Red Hat Society, and a member of the Bountiful Community Church for 42 years. She and Charles loved to square dance and belonged to a square dance club. Dorothy was a friend to all she met and her greatest joy was her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In passing she joins her husband, Charles and daughter, Susan, her mother and one brother. She is survived by grandchildren Adam Weiss (Megan), Alexis Weiss (David King), and Ashley Weiss; great grandchildren Katie, C.J. and Anthony Weiss; Skylee and Tierney King and niece Sharon Bishop, and several other loving family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Bountiful Community Church, 150 N. 400 E. Donations may be made to a charity of choice or Shriners Children’s Hospital. The family wishes to express appreciation to Brighton Home Health and Hospice for the many hours of kind and respectful care and treatment.
Inurnment Bountiful City Cemetery. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
