Dorothy Elizabeth Clark

Dorothy Elizabeth Clark passed peacefully from this life to the next on August 14, 2013. Dort was born on April 15, 1929 in Compton, CA. She married James G. Clark on March 28, 1947 and they had one child, Glen Clark.

Dorothy liked to cook and collect mementoes from their travels. She enjoyed doing word puzzles, watching game shows and keeping up on the Hollywood scene. Once moving to Utah, she loved having her home filled with the laughter and love of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her home and the views it gave her of the four seasons of Utah. She played bingo at the South Ogden Senior Center, and looked forward to her weekly visits with her friends.

Her husband, Jimmy; her parents, Charles and Lillian Huff Lee; and stepmother, Mona; preceded Dorothy in death.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Glen (Julie); grandchildren, Judi, Glenda (Rich), Bradon (Jenn), Robb (Andrea), and Russ (Alysa); and great-grandchildren, Evan, Adam, Alex and Emma; Jaden, Gage and Shae; Bryson, Kael and Jax.

The family expresses gratitude to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary and all who helped give comfort and care to her in Dr. Vincent Hanson''s office, the 5th floor Oncology at McKay Dee Hospital, and Pine View Transitional Rehab.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
