Dorothy Marie Ellis

Dorothy Marie Hart Ellis passed away peacefully at her home Friday, January 31, 2014.

She was born January 5, 1928 in Bountiful Utah to George C. and Amy P. Hart.

On November 20, 1948, Dorothy married Duane Ellis and the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She leaves two sons, Randy (Gina) Ellis and Ty (Cindi) Ellis, two daughters, Dianne Martin and Terri (Lee) Suder; a brother Don Hart, and a sister Sanona. She was a wonderful grandmother to eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Sand Ridge LDS Ward Chapel, 4900 South 2000 West, Roy.

The family will meet with friends Tuesday, February 4th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
