Dorothy Nold

Dorothy “Dottie” Nold Dorothy “Dottie” Nold, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 after a valiant fight with cancer. Dottie was born on November 27, 1923 in Columbus, GA; the daughter of Marshall Zechial and Jessie Bruce Hendrix. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall Nold. She worked for the U.S. Army at Fort Benning, GA; and later for the IRS in Ogden. She enjoyed her flower gardens as well as decorating. Dottie is survived by her daughter, Pamela Fritz, son Kendall “Rusty” and two grandsons, Bobby and Dane Fritz. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
