Dorothy Fergus Pehrson

Dorothy Fergus Pehrson, loving Wife and devoted Mother entered life eternal on January 2nd, 2013. Dorothy was born March 1, 1931 to Clarence and Reatha Fergus in Logan Utah. Dorothy, her Sister Lovell, and Brother Doyle lost their parents while still young. They were raised lovingly by their dear Aunts and Uncles. Dorothy applied this nurturing and caring for friends and family throughout her life, never declining the opportunity to give freely of herself to help others. Dorothy was a skilled cake decorator and took pride in the perfect details she put in all of her creations.

"Dot" married her lifelong love Robert Pehrson on Feb. 14, 1949 in Logan, Utah, and that marriage was later solemnized on Feb. 14, 1958 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. That wonderful union lasted nearly 64 years until her passing this week. They were blessed with 2 sons, David and John. Dorothy was the mother that could be counted on to drive (speed) her sons and their friends to many outings and adventures. Dorothy wasn''t shy about joining in these adventures right along with her boys.

She attended schools in the Logan, Utah area and graduated High School in Monticello, Utah. Along with wonderful memories, Dorothy leaves behind a devoted, loving husband Bob, her eldest son David (Nancy) Pehrson, younger Son John (Jacy) Pehrson, Sister Lovell Campbell, 11 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death and now reunited with her Father Clarence, her Mother Reatha, her Brother Doyle, and Great Granddaughter Abigail.
