Dorothy H. Pepe, 99, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024. She was born in Magna, Utah on January 19, 1924, to Dewey and Ella Mae Hunt. She was the oldest of six children. She graduated from Cyprus High School in 1942. Soon after she completed beauty school in Salt Lake City.
In the summer of 1942, she met the love of her life of 63 years “Nickie,” all by chance. It was love at first sight, and the rest is history. They had four wonderful children.
She worked for First Security Bank in Ogden and retired after more than 20 years of dedication.
Dorothy loved her family with all her heart, she loved family vacations, and reunions. She loved playing cards with her family and friends. She also loved reading books, gardening, golf, and just making a warm and loving home for all.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Bruce) Pettibone; sons, David Pepe and Nicholas T. Pepe; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sister, Shirlene Matthews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Nicholas J. Pepe; son, Anthony “Tony” Pepe; parents; brother, John; sisters; Ethel, Mary, and Marjorie.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
