Dorothy Elizabeth Taylor Tice 1923 a" 2009
Our beloved mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother, passed beyond the veil of this life and into the loving arms of her family on September 15, 2009 at her home in South Jordan, Utah.
She came into this life on October 4, 1923 in Riverdale, Utah, the first child born to Nettie and DeWayne Taylor. Dorothy''s family preceded her in death.
Dorothy married Carmen "Bud" Tice, her beloved husband on July 31, 1945. At her passing the marriage had lasted more than 64 years. Dorothy and Bud had five wonderful children, Jerry, Craig, Patricia, Carma and Janae. Dorothy was blessed to experience the joy of her children and ten grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was an artist with the craft of quilting, knitting and sewing. She enjoyed the out-of-doors, camping with her family and being with friends and enjoying life. Golf was her passion. Her nickname of the links was "iron lady."
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Bud, three of her five children and all of her grand and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 11 am Friday, September 18, 2009 at Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 pm at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N Main and 9:30 a" 10-30 am Fri. prior to graveside services.
