CLEARFIELD a€" Douglas William Burmylo, 31, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007 from injuries sustained in a pedestrian automobile accident.

He was born in Woodbury, NJ; the son of William and Helene Conaty Burmylo and moved to Florida as a young child. He grew up and attended school in Largo, Florida before he joined the U.S. Navy as a nuclear electrician for 12 years on numerous submarines. After being stationed at Pearl Harbor located in Hawaii for the past six years. Doug got out of the Navy and relocated to Utah for a job opportunity at Morris Material Handling as a crane technician located at Kennecot Mines.

Doug married Deborah Noel Blake on November 1, 2001 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Doug made friends everywhere he went. He had an outgoing and generous personality and was loved by everyone he met. He was especially known for being an avid sports fan, especially his beloved Philadelphia Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, parents, Pinellas County, FL; son Jared Burmylo, Clearfield; in-laws, John and Virginia Blake, Vancouver, WA; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. The family will great friends one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
