ROY a€" Douglas Fay Frampton, 76, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Heritage Park Care Center. He was born April 28, 1936. He married Vicky K. Sowle on April 8, 1956 and was later divorced on July 8, 1998.

He loved and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time with his roommate Oreo.

Douglas is survived by his best friend, companion and roommate of 7 years, Oreo Cat; his children, William "Bill (Lori) Frampton, Penny (Scott) Fry, Anthony "Tony" Frampton; grandsons, Kelly and Travis; granddaughters, Sarah, Misty, Kaitlyn, and Brandy; and great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Ryker, Cheyenne, and Morigan; two brothers, Evan (Shirley) Frampton and Eldon (Carol) Frampton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fay and Clara Frampton, and two brothers, Morris and John Dexter Frampton.

Per Doug''s wishes, there will be no services or memorials. Cremation entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to University of Utah Medical Center in Doug''s name.

While he may have had his flaws, he was always a good man.
