Douglas R. Hill HARRISVILLE – Douglas Ralph Hill, 65, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 of coronary artery atherosclerosis. Doug was born January 30, 1943 in Ogden, a son of Ralph Jesse Hill and Elizabeth “Betty” Pierson Hill Orgill. He married Anita Owens and they had two daughters. They later divorced. He married “his bride” Phyllis L. Reese on October 12, 1974. Doug served with the U.S. Army Reserves for six years. He retired from U.D.O.T. following 41 years of service. Doug enjoyed golfing, fishing, baseball, his Oly and many close friends. Surviving are his wife Phyllis, daughters, Angie Hill, Jane (Robert) Brink, Shantel (Joe) Caccamo, one son, Guy (Alex) Hill, seven beautiful grandchildren and other extended family members. Doug is also survived by his mother, Betty and one brother, Dave. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph, and one brother, Frank. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery. An open house and luncheon will be held at the Hill residence Wednesday afternoon beginning at 2 p.m. until “whenever”.
