Long remembered will be the good times shared at home, especially the traditional Christmas parties and back-yard summer BBQ''s. Doug and Verna enjoyed traveling together to visit friends and family. They traveled extensively visiting other states, many countries in Europe, and the Caribbean Islands. He found great pleasure in growing beautiful flowers in his yards and supporting Verna as she painted beautiful flowers in oils.
