Douglas Blair Seaman, Sr., 98, passed away at home, surrounded by family, on Friday, March 3, 2023. He was born on September 21, 1924 in Ogden to George A. Seaman, Jr. and E. Darhl Blair.
Douglas lived his whole life in the Ogden area. He married M. Faun Hatch on July 9, 1955 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on August 12, 1957. They celebrated 67 long, happy years of marriage and together they have six children.
Douglas graduated from Ogden High School in 1942. He then worked as an accountant for his entire career. First, with his father at Seaman Accounting and then at the Internal Revenue Service where he retired after 20 years in 1986.
He enjoyed roller skating, golfing and in the last few years, Wii golf and his IPad. His whole focus was around his family, who he loved to tease and joke with daily. They were his world and loved them all very much.
