Douglas Richard Sliger, Jr.

Douglas Richard Sliger, Jr. was born on February 8, 1955, in Texas. He was the first of eight children born to Douglas Richard Sliger, Sr. and Theresa Gebele Sliger.
This Air Force family moved several times over the years, eventually settling in Utah. Doug and all his siblings, graduated from Bonneville High School in Ogden, Utah.After high school he enlisted in the Navy and served in Morocco. He received a BS in physics and mathematics from Weber State College in June of 1982. He worked for various military contractors in computer engineering jobs in Utah and California. For the last several years he lived in Clinton, Utah.
He went to his eternal rest on February 26, 2022, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Thomas, James, and Peter. Heis survived by one sister, Liz Bingham (Mel); three brothers, John, Mike (Cindy), and David (Rebecca.) He had 11 nieces and nephews and 8t grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was a parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 4050 S 3900 W, West Haven, Utah 84401. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. South Ogden, Utah 84403.
In lieu of flowers a remembrance can be sent to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
