Douglas Nephi Webster

ONE LESS COWBOY, MARINE AND FATHER

Douglas Nephi Webster age 77, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 after a long and difficult battle with cancer.

Doug was born and raised on a farm in west Kaysville and spent years as a buckeroo on the cattle ranges of northern Nevada. He followed that by joining the US Marines. He had a long career at Hill AFB and retired in Kaysville. Sometimes folks were unable to get past his rough exterior but he also had a giant, loving heart of gold and he loved his kids and grandkids and he showed it well and regularly. He was deeply intelligent and loved history and golf and had an awesome sense of humor.

Doug is survived by two sons, Randy Webster, Puyallup, WA; Bret Webster, Bountiful, UT; six grandchildren, Jacob, Emily, Karen, Amber, Wilson and Jenna Webster.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Road.
