Drew Arthur VanWagoner 1930-2010

Drew Arthur VanWagoner of North Salt Lake, Utah, 80, passed away December 5, 2010.

He was born March 23, 1930 in Midway, Utah, to Arthur VanWagoner and Winnie Jones. He married Nancy Jane Neville on August 24, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Drew graduated with a BA in music from BYU and a MA from USU. He served a mission in Holland from 1950-1953 and served in the Army in the Korean War from 1953-1955. Drew sang with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir from 1976-1990. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout his life. He served in many capacities including working in the Bountiful Temple.

He is survived by his five children; Ann (Greg) Smith, Jeff (Ruthanne) VanWagoner, Jon (Alayne) VanWagoner, Carol VanWagoner and Kurt (Gail) VanWagoner; 16 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; as well as both of his siblings. Preceded in death by his wife Nancy.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Orchard Stake Center, 3599 Orchard Dr. Bountiful where friends may visit from 12:45- 1:45 pm prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
