Duane Elmer Patterson

Duane Elmer Patterson, 67, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019 at his home due to liver failure. surrounded by his family. Duane was born on June 21, 1952 in Evanston, WY, the son of Elmer and Letticia Norris Patterson.
He married Wanda Brown and they later divorced. He married Karen Sorensen in 1985 and later divorced.
Duane was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He worked for Maverik for a long time and he enjoyed traveling for them.
Duane enjoyed guns, camping, traveling, fishing, and leatherwork. He absolutely loved anything to do with the outdoors. He also published a book called "The Time Mine."
Duane is survived by his daughters, Cassandra Patterson (Tony Rogers) and Renee Lysinger; six grandchildren, Acen James Rogers, Austin Byard, Dallas Reid, Colby Reid, Blake Sims, and Glenn Lysinger; and two great-grandchildren; brother, John Patterson; and sister, Linda Ciampini. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Patterson; mother, Letticia Norris Child; and stepfather, Alton Child.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Randolph, Utah Cemetery on Friday, January 3rd at 1 p.m.
