DUANE STELTER ISAAC

1928-2014

Duane Stelter Isaac of Bountiful, Utah passed away February 19, 2014 at home surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born July 28, 1928 to Anna Marie Stelter and Joseph Wignall Isaac.

Duane served honorably in the Marines during WWII.  After the war he served an LDS mission to New Zealand.  He graduated from University of Utah and University of Wyoming, receiving a Masters Degree.  He taught Jr. High Science in Davis County School District for many years.  Duane enjoyed gardening, geology, and genealogy, but his greatest love was his family.

Duane married Dawn Terry in the Logan LDS Temple in 1962.  Father of Moana (Brent Hill), Ken (Merriann Nelson), Malayna (Craig Paskett-deceased), Jeff, Angela (Allen Hammer), Kristen (Ethan Robison); 18 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren.  Brother of JoAnn (Andrew Ball).  Preceded in death by parents, siblings Joseph J (Gertrude), Edith (Jack Dawson).

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 1st, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Bountiful 31st Ward Chapel, 585 East Center Street, Bountiful.  Friends are welcome to visit with the family one hour before the services.  Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.  Cremation Services provided by Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
