Duane R. Patterson passed away at his home in Ogden on Monday January 22, 2018 of causes related to age.
He was born June 12, 1934 in West Point, Utah to Leland R. and Norma Patterson, where he lived for most of his life and farmed the family farm with his father and grandfather. For over 20 years, he owned a home in Mesa, Arizona where he and Cora enjoyed winters and the life of snow birds. Cora passed away on June 26, 2010. They raised three sons.
On January 20, 2012, Duane married Lorraine Williams and together they continued his traveling adventures with trips to such places as Nauvoo, Hawaii, Israel, Egypt, Alaska, New Zealand and the Caribbean. In recent years Lorraine has faithfully stayed by his side through the challenges and trials associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
