Our dear father, Earie (Ed) Pattillo, died peacefully in his home on Monday, December 13th living to be 90 years of age. He was born on June 20, 1920 to Edd and Trude Pattillo in Lone Grove, Oklahoma being one of twelve children.
Earie served in the US Navy during WW II. After the service he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad on the Dining Car ending up in Ogden, Utah where he met our mother Marjorie Lamberson. They married in March of 1946 enjoying 53 years together. After Mother died in July of 1999, he lived in the home they loved until his death.
Dad worked in the produce business for Slot Bros., Muir Roberts and Marco Produce until retiring in 1997. He truly loved our mother tenderly caring for her. He enjoyed his home, yard and roses. Mom and Dad always had a dog and Chewy was with him, never leaving his side until the end. He loved golf and was a former member of the Ogden Golf and Country Club. He and mom took many trips together, some of the most memorable were family reunions at the Red Mountain Ranch in Colorado. Above all else dad loved his family and anxiously awaited anyone coming to visit.
