Earl Ivor Jorgensen

Earl Ivor Jorgensen, 93, passed away on August 21, 2018 at George E. Wahlen Veterans Home. He was born on December 26, 1924 in Ogden, Utah, where he resided for his entire life. Earl graduated from Weber High School.
Earl served in the Army during WWII.
He married Janath Avon Bischoff on February 14, 1951 in Logan Utah. Janath passed away on October 20, 1992.
Earl was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served faithfully on four missions including three stake missions, ward mission leader, and many other positions in the stake and ward.
He worked for Swift Trucking Co. for twenty years, Kentucky Fried Chicken for 3 or 4, Clover Club for 20 years, along with several other jobs.
Earl is survived by his son, James Jorgenson; grandson, Devon Jorgenson; granddaughter, Crystal Jorgensen; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Isaiah. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, daughter Janath Ann; and brothers, Larry Ronald.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
