Earl Larson

Earl Larson, 84, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013. He was born on November 8, 1929 in Ogden, Utah to Joseph Erick and Mary Cox Larson.

He married Ann Florine Hunt on April 10, 1958. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Ann passed away in January of 2006.

Earl was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Earl and Ann served an Ogden Temple Mission.

He worked at Hill Air Force Base retiring after 40 years.

Earl loved to spend his time helping others. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family. Earl is survived by his sons, Wayne Joseph, Steven Lynn, James Howard, and Andrew Earl; daughter, Susan Marie (Gregory) Gossling; two grandchildren; and sister, Donna Jean Weatherspoon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, brothers, Clarence, David, Frank, John Eric; and sister, Helen Iris Turkelson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
