LAYTON a€" Earl Dee McQuiston Jr., 74, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

He was born August 8, 1934 in Marshall, Texas one of the twin sons of Earl Dee Sr. and Viola Grace Hayner McQuiston.

Earl married Gwendolyn Irene Plog on July 3, 1955 in Carson City, Nevada. She preceded him in death on August 6, 2003.

He worked at Lockheed Martin at HAFB for 22 years.

Earl was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are his granddaughter, Candace Blakley, grandson, Jason Blakley, two great-grandsons, twin brother, David C. McQuiston, brother, Robert K. McQuiston and sister, Linda Baxter.

Preceded in death are his wife, Gwendolyn, daughter, Marjorie and son, Kenneth.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
