Earl Miller

Our loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Earl Miller, passed away at his home on Friday, April 4, 2008, at the age of 94.

Earl was born October 2, 1913 in Harrisville, Utah, the son of Jerome and Isabel Woodfield Miller.

Earl married Bee Green on December 4, 1936 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married for 69 years. Bee passed away in April of 2005. They resided in Roy for 67 years.

Earl worked at the Defense Depot of Ogden and later owned and operated Miller''s Service and Truck Stop on Wall Avenue.

An avid trap shooter, he was a member of the Ogden Gun Club, where he won many trophies and awards throughout the intermountain area. He was a State Champion many times.

He enjoyed shooting trap, hunting and looked forward to watching the Utah Jazz.

Earl is survived by his three daughters, Judy (Wil) Moyer, Roy; Pat (Lyle, deceased) Saunders, West Haven; Dixie (Bruce) Jarman, West Haven; nine grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother, Hubert, a sister, June Newey, and his son-in-law, Lyle.

Thanks Dad for always taking care of us, we are grateful for your long, healthy life. We will miss you.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Chapel, 3333 West 5600 South.

The family will meet friends on Wednesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
