Earl J. Nellsch

Earl J. Nellsch CLEARFIELD – Earl J. Nellsch, 84, passed away Wednesday February 11, 2009. He was born July 30, 1924 in Havana, Kansas the son of Earl and Blanch Wise Nellsch. He served in World War II and the Korean Wars in the U.S. Army. Earl married Jerri Osborne on April 5, 1958 in Ely, Nevada. Earl loved spending time with his grandsons Wyatt and Ryker, gardening, yardwork, his farm animals, riding his tractor and vacationing in Nevada. Surviving are his wife Jerri, two daughters Sandy, Tami, three sons, David, Allan (Shelly), Bobby (Lana), 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Opal Mattix, Topeka, Kansas. Preceded in death by his parents, son William and brother Verner. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street. Friends and family may call Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.
