Earl Wallace Sadler

1921-2014

Earl Wallace Sadler, 92, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 in Bountiful, Utah.

He was born December 1, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Lillard McKinley and Belle Emma Camomile Sadler.  Married Ardella Deppe, September 28, 1946.

Earl served in the US Army during World War II. He worked for over 30 years at Amoco where he retired.  He loved playing the harmonica, sold tropical fish to the pet stores and went every day to the Bountiful Senior Center to spend time with his friends and play pool. He took care of his loving wife in her declining years.

He is survived by his sons Lee (Colleen) Sadler and Jerry (Lonna) Sadler; daughters Susan Norby and Cindy (LeGrand) Peterson; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.  He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters.  Preceded in death by his wife, Ardella and three brothers.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W.  Friends may visit family from 7-8 pm Wed. Oct. 8 th at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Thurs. from 9:45-10:15 am at the mortuary prior to graveside services.
