Edith J. Lynch
FRUIT HEIGHTS, Utah – Edith Joyce Wilson Lynch, 75, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007 from complications due to Alzheimer’s Disease, surrounded by her loving family.
Edith was born September 30, 1932 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Lannes E. Wilson and Weltha Lefgren.
Married Jack D. Lynch on April 20, 1952 in Elko, Nevada; later sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.
She graduated from Ogden High School in 1950 and later attended Weber College. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in various positions and established the Fruit Heights 5th Ward library. She was extremely dedicated to family genealogy, completing numerous family histories. Edith worked at Hill AFB for 34 years as a civilian in the Logistics Division, retiring in 1988.
Edith is survived by her husband Jack D. Lynch, sons, John M. (Cathy) Lynch, D. Patrick (Clare), grandchildren, Jay Anne Marx, Erin L. Coleman, Dawn Danielle Lynch , Ben Lynch, and Josh Lynch, and great-grandchild, Seren Marx.
Preceded in death by her parents and brother Lannes E. Wilson Jr.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 21, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Fruit Heights 5th Ward, 24 So. Country Lane. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
