Edmund Eugene Pudlewski

June 13, 1922 ~ February 18, 2014

Edmund Eugene Pudlewski, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. He was born on June 13, 1922 in Cheektowaga, New York to Julianna and Paul Pudlewski. Edmund served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and later retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1985.

He married Thelma Anderson on December 7, 1956 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They enjoyed 57 wonderful years together.  Edmund, loved to fish, camp, travel, eat Cheetos and spend time with his grandchildren telling them stories of his life experiences.  He was so proud of all his children and grandchildren.  He always saw the positive in everything and made people laugh with his sense of humor, and the singing of his polish tunes.

Edmund will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  Edmund is survived by his loving wife, Thelma; children, Julia, Eddie, Rulon, Elizabeth, and Angela; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Intermountain Hospice for their special care and attention

Family Graveside Services were held at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park on February 24, 2014. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
