LAYTON a€" Edna Louise Jenkins King, 80, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at her home.

She was born March 31, 1932 in Midvale, Utah the daughter of Earl and Beatrice Osborn Jenkins.

Edna married Hyrum D. King on December 17, 1954 in Layton, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 18, 1962.

She retired after 30 years of service with the Davis School District at E. M. Whitesides School in Layton.

Edna enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

Surviving are her husband Hyrum D. King, son Clifford (Ranetta) King, West Valley; daughter Bernice (Byron) Conrad, Fruit Heights; two grandchildren, Matt (Jenni) Conrad, Caitlin Conrad, two great-grandchildren, Kennedy Conrad, Krew Conrad and sister Leona Mayfield.

Preceded in death by her parents, three sister, three brothers and twin grandchildren, Dena and William.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
