Edward W. Huneke LOGAN, UTAH – Edward Walter Huneke, 79, died Monday, September 29, 2008 at Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden, Utah of cancer. He was born January 10, 1929 in Lemon Cove, California, a son of Paul Walter and Eva Mabel Hambright Huneke. Edward lived in Lemon Cove, CA for 49 years; El Paso, TX for two years; Douglas City, CA for five years, Crescent City, CA for 20 years and in Logan, Utah for the past three years. He served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Ed was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Lemon Cove, CA. He worked for the U.S. Forest Service as a Forest Ranger for many years. Ed was a member of the Elks Club. He enjoyed football, baseball, sports, hunting and fishing. Surviving is his sister, Nellie Ruth Sharp, Logan, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Verne Huneke and John Huneke. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
