Edward Neil Larsen, 73, a long-time Clinton resident, passed away peacefully of natural causes at Rocky Mountain Care of Clearfield on September 2, 2022.

He was born on April 4, 1949 to Edward H. and Opal Marble Larsen in Ogden, Utah. After graduating from Bonneville High School Class of 1967, Neil married the love of his life, Paula Burt, in October of that year. Neil worked at Volvo GM for most of his life. He was a welder and eventually retired from White Motor.

Neil loved going camping and riding his sand rail with his three sons. He also enjoyed going golfing and being outside.

Neil is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Paula B. Larsen, Clinton; his two sons, Brent (Doreen) Larsen, Sunset; and Eric (Karen Mueller) Larsen, Clinton; grandchildren, Nicholas (Emily), Taygen (Mike), Malaya, Tanner, Lexis (Anthony), and Sydney; and great-grandchildren, Daxton, Lucas, Liam, Kai, and Allison.

Neil was preceded in death by his youngest son, C.W. “Dub” Larsen; his parents, and by many other loving family members.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Country Meadows Clubhouse, 3750 Midland Drive, Roy Utah 84067.

Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary. Interment will take place at Brigham City Cemetery at a later date.
