In 1974, Ed and his family relocated to Weisbaden, Germany. They explored Europe extensively during their stay and returned home to the U.S. in 1982 to continue work at Hill. He spent much of his military and civilian life serving his country. Ed retired in 1986 after 31 years of distinguished service.
