Edward Alfred White

Edward Alfred White, 83, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at his home.
He was born August 23, 1934 in Alberta, Canada to Norman Frederick and Hilda Shimmin White. He lived in Canada, Utah, Virginia, Kansas, Washington and California.
Edward served two years for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints in the New England Mission and also served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
On April 4, 1957, Edward married Utahna Darlene Bowles in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served as an Elder, High Priest and Branch President.
Edward was a Master Electrician. He enjoyed riding horses, skiing, bike riding, dancing and woodworking. He loved adventures, hunting, fishing, hiking, boating and helping everyone.
Edward is survived by his wife, Utahna Darlene, four daughters, Cindy Rae, Julie Lynn, Tracy Deann and Kristine Sue, 17 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Homestead Ward Chapel, 5375 South 5900 West, Hooper. The family will meet with friends Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Hooper Cemetery.
