KAYSVILLE - Edythe Larsen Smith, 90, passed away at home Saturday morning, on March 1, 2008. She was born March 9, 1917 to William Lavor and Ivadene Anderson Larsen in Spring City, Utah. She married Kenneth James Smith on March 11, 1939, in Malad, ID. Edythe was raised in Garland and spent the past 57 years in Kaysville raising her family. She loved her roses, politics'', music, playing bridge and most of all, her children and grandchildren. Edythe is survived by one son, Kenneth Chad (Fran) Smith, Bountiful; three daughters, Joyce (Bill) Favero, Layton; Kathy Phillips, Layton; Susan (Bruce) Petersen, Layton; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one brother Rodney (Janet) Larsen, St. George. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, three brothers and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary 400 North Main Street. Friends and family may call Thursday, from 12 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
