Eileen Anne Wallace

Our sweet Mom and Nana, Eileen Anne Patey Wallace, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2017.  Eileen was born on October 5, 1934 in Liverpool, England to George E. Patey and Ellen McWilliam Patey.  Mom grew up in a close-knit family during the dark days of World War II where she developed a strong belief in the power of prayer and love of her Savior, Jesus Christ.  Along with her dad and two brothers, Mom immigrated to the United States fulfilling a dream of her mom, who had passed away when she was a baby, to ‘come to Zion’.

Mom was sealed to her ‘sunshine’ Robert N. Wallace in the Salt Lake Temple on March 24, 1955.  Their family was later completed by the arrival of two daughters, Joy and Juleen.  Mom was a homemaker by trade, something she truly enjoyed.  Although she loved nature, dancing, feeding the birds, reading and crosswords, her most favorite thing was just spending time with her children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Mom was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, parents, her sisters Joyce and Marjorie, and brother, John.  She is survived by her daughters and their families and her brother, Donald.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 26, 2017 in the Dry Creek/24th Ward Chapel, 720 East 550 North, Bountiful, UT where friends may visit family from 9:30-10:30am prior to the service.  Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
