“Eternal Love”
Elaine Laree Hansen Cutler
passed away Feb. 21, 2009 at
her home surrounded by her
family. She will be buried at the
West Weber Cemetery next to
her beloved husband Virgil Cutler.
Mom was born Dec. 13, 1926
to Blanch Benedict and Wilford
H. Hansen. She was raised in
West Weber, UT and graduated
from Weber High. While working
at F.W. Woolworth she met and
fell in love with Virgil Cutler.
They were married in September,
1956. Together they became
a family of three daughters
from Virgil's former marriage and
three sons of their own.
She is survived by her three
loving sons and their spouses;
Bryan and Raelene (Slaterville,
UT); Blair and Caree (Montello,
NV); and Blaine and Bambi
(West Weber, UT). Also her
three loving daughters and their
spouses; SueDele and Wayne
Fowler (Ogden, UT); Gloria and
Todd Homer (Spokane, WA);
and Glenda and Craig Ventimiglia
(Seattle, WA). She also
leaves behind 19 grandchildren,
22 great-grandchildren and two
brothers, Verlan and Jay
Hansen.
She was preceded in death
by her husband Virgil, sister
Irene Syrett, grandson Bruce
Singer and both parents.
Mom was a member of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-
Day Saints. She and Dad later
had their marriage solemnized in
the Logan Temple.
Elaine retired from the Defense
Depot Ogden, where she
received many recognition
awards.
Her favorite things in life were
spending time with her family,
traveling with her husband and
helping him with his antique
business.
She will be missed dearly by
her Family and Friends.
Funeral services will be held
Saturday, February 28, 2009 at
11 AM at Lindquist's North Ogden
Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington
Blvd. Friends may call at the
mortuary on Friday, 2/27/09 from
6-8 PM and Saturday 9:45-10:45
AM.
The family would especially
thank Pat and Jason from
Healthwatch Hospice, Dr. Deremer,
Veda, Corey and Mom's
“Golden Girls” friends.
