Elaine Ellsworth Naylor passed away peacefully in her sleep, October 24, 2010. She was born on January 19, 1924, the oldest child of German Smith Ellsworth and Adelaide Grant Ellsworth. Elaine was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from High School in Mesa, Arizona in 1942. She also attended the University Of Utah for 2 years. She served an LDS mission in San Francisco, California. Elaine married Garth Laird Naylor in the Salt Lake Temple on April 11, 1945. Elaine and Garth were blessed with 6 children. One beautiful daughter and 5 sons; Mary, Gregory, Preston, Bradley, Douglas, and Brian. Elaine was employed at Zion''s National Bank in downtown Salt Lake City following her divorce from Garth in 1968. Elaine loved serving her family and many others. She sang with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for 15 years, and worked as an LDS Temple Ordinance worker for many years after retiring from the choir. In addition, she enjoyed her final years of temple service as an organist. Elaine has shared with us many happy memories of her teaching experiences in the primary, Sunday School, and Relief Society programs of the LDS church. She was preceded in death by her husband Garth, and her son Douglas. She is survived by her five remaining children, 31 grandchildren, and 16 & 1/2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N 400 E Bountiful, UT. A viewing will be held on Tuesday October 26, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary and Wednesday 1 hour prior to services.
