ELAINE WHATCOTT ROUECHE
Elaine Whatcott Roueche passed away at age 89, November 17, 2021.
Elaine was born to Clemouth and Vesta Whatcott in Logan, Utah on July 20, 1932. She married Earl John Roueche November 26, 1952 in the Logan, Utah Temple. Elaine was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was blessed with seven children. Karen King (Michael), Michael Roueche (Susan),Tina Conde (Pedro), Terry Roueche (Cathy), Susan Hekking (Kris), Peter Roueche (Kari), and Aaron Roueche (Celeste). Her 31 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren also brought great joy to her life. Elaine is one of seven children and is survived by her brother Ross Whatcott.
Elaine served with her husband on several missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They presided over the Belgium Brussels Mission and President and Matron of the Washington D.C. Temple. They served as missionaries in the London England Temple, Hong Kong and Auckland New Zealand area offices. They served together in six additional service missions at Church headquarters. Elaine served as Relief Society President, Young Women’s President, a seminary teacher and was a beloved nursery leader.
Elaine will be remembered for her love of sweets, for her sense of humor and for her service.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20,2021 at the Mueller Park Stake Center, 1800 Mueller Park Road, Bountiful, UT 84010, where the family will receive visitors from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Services may be viewed online at https://walmart.zoom.us/j/96580542811 . Elaine will be interred at Bountiful City Cemetery following the service.
