On Monday, October 4, 2010, Elaine Martin Walker took a step into the eternities and was off on the next adventure. She was born July 20, 1923 to Frederick and Vera Schoffield Martin in Salt Lake City, Utah, the third of five children with her younger brother Fred Martin being the surviving sibling.
Elaine loved school and made many good friends who were in later year''s referred to as "Our Old Gang," before graduating from South High School.
When the sweetheart of her life, Leland E. (Dean) Walker, returned from the Spanish-American Mission they married on July 12, 1944 in the Salt Lake Temple. They recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. They were blessed with four children; Annalee (Charles) Bohon, Stephanie Walker, Melissa (Doug) Trom and Brian Walker, as well as beloved daughter a"in-law Chandra Walker and sons-in-law Irvin Platt, Willie Smith and Monte Peterson.
