Eldon “Charlie” LeGrand Weaver, 71, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at his home.
He was born August 7, 1940 in Ogden, Utah to Rulon and Pauline Allen Weaver.
On May 29, 1965, Charlie married Mabel “Colleen” Cutler in Willard, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized on October 11, 2008 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He was a member of the LDS church Sunset 4th Ward.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
Dad was the best road grader operator in the world. He loved to work and took great pleasure in his accomplishments. He loved his family with his whole heart. He was loving, giving and honest.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Colleen; two sons, Maurice of Colorado; Corey (Bobbie Jo) of Idaho; Cheryl Thomas of Colorado; Pauline Balster of Colorado; Colleen (James) Norris of Texas; Shelly (Randy) Eskelson of Hooper; Wendy Clark of South Weber; Jeanna (Darrin) Tingey of Harrisville; Stacy (Jorge) Dominguez of Hooper; Vicky (David) Stuart of Clearfield; six brothers, three sisters, Mark Nebeker, 35 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Allen, two sisters, Bonnie and Lorna, one son-in-law, Howard, and two grandchildren, Ashley and Mary Jo.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 7th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
