Eldred "Curly" Wilson
1928 ~ 2010
Eldred "Curly" Wilson, 82, beloved brother, uncle, father, and friend left this earth life on his big puffy cloud October 25, 2010.
He was born in Tridell, Utah to John Thomas and Maude Wilson on October 18, 1928.
Curly was an extraordinarily unselfish man with the ability to love and care for others without passing judgment. He supported countless individuals especially the downtrodden and had a special soft spot for children. He was known in the community as someone who would literally give the shirt off his back. A trumpet player with a beautiful voice, he loved music and brought or created it wherever he went.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Army Band alongside his twin brother, Elmond. He found loveliness in antiques and old treasures. Always on the go, he loved to tinker and turn old junk into something of worth, which he then gave away. His exquisite yard was a hidden oasis as he created natural beauty with passion and excellence. His suggestion to "eat more ice-cream" reflects his desire for everyone to enjoy life.
He is survived by his "kids" (four dogs and two cats); sister, Twila Hughes; sons, Gary and Steven; grandchildren; in-laws, Emma, Glenna, Delsa, Frank Davis and Jay Wight; numerous nieces and nephews and many "adopted" relatives. Preceded in death by parents, nine siblings including his twin brother, and son Milo.
