BOUNTIFUL a€" Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and Aunt returned home to our Heavenly Father on Friday, August 21, 2009 of pneumonia.

She was born July 27, 1932 in Ensenada, New Mexico to Juan Benito and Isabel (Valesquez) Roybal. Eliberta married Juan Pablo Romero in 1952 in Ensenada, New Mexico; he passed away September 19, 2002.

Eliberta loved to cook, dance and socialize with family and friends.

She is survived by two sisters, Frutosa Martinez, Maria Delgado; two sons, Patrick, Thomas (Lisa) Romero of Salt Lake City; two daughters, Rose Holguin, Angelina Jaramillo, both of Layton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, Eraclio, Benito Roybal; three sisters, Ramona, Stella Gallegos, Tonia Manzanares; and two sons Gregory and Jacabo Romero.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 9 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 Chapel St., Layton. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
