Elizabeth (Betty) Ure Camper Beeson left this mortal life on Nov 14, 2011. Elizabeth was born October 22, 1924 in Kamas, Utah, a daughter of James Jones and Eleanor Peterson Ure.

She graduated from South Summit High School and Attended BYU, Weber College and Henninger Business College. Elizabeth married Harry W. Camper Jr. in the Salt Lake Temple in 1946. They were divorced in 1985. She worked at Hill Air Force Base, and built two four-plexes which proved to be work and security for her family. She retired from the HAFB in 1985 and married Myron (Bud) W. Beeson that same year.

Elizabeth an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had many church callings including: Sunday School Teacher, Relief Society President, Young Women''s President and Visiting Teacher. She also served in the Ogden Temple Baptistery from 1975-1981 and as a Tour guide and Hostess at Temple Square from 1981-1987. Elizabeth and Myron served as Temple Ordinance Workers in Ogden from 1991-1996. Elizabeth and Myron served missions in Independence, Mo, The Family History Center in St. George, Utah and the Visitors Center at Cody, Wyoming. Elizabeth was also active in the PTA, Daughters of Pioneers and politics. Elizabeth enjoyed boating, water skiing, snow skiing, scuba diving, and biking. The last two years she loved the time she spent Indexing for the church.

She is survived by one daughter, Connie Nance (Aldon), three sons, Michael W. Camper (Laura), Melvin L. Camper and Charles L. Camper (Patty), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry W Camper Jr. and Myron W Beeson and a young daughter, Carolyn Camper, her parents, a brother, Edwin Ure, two step-brothers, Orla Seymour and Bill Seymour and two sisters, Harried Stephens and Eva Hart.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11:00 am at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Friends may visit family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
