Elizabeth Gomez Flores, 71, passed away peacefully Monday, January 3, 2022. She was born on December 2, 1950, in Devine, Texas to Jose Gomez and Mary (Refugia) Gomez.

She was a hard-working woman of all trades. She met the love her life, Joe Flores as a young woman. They were married on November 21, 1969, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Elizabeth is survived by her seven children, Joe, Jr. (Maria) Flores, Roy; Melissa (Isaiah) Salazar, Pleasant View; David (Sheila) Flores, Brigham City; Mike (Stefanie) Flores, Ogden; Gabriel (Tiffany) Flores, Ogden; Tony Flores, Ogden; 25 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Once she started laughing, she could not stop, her laugh was so contagious. She loved Jesus and loved to sing. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. She ministered next to her husband for over 20 years, their church was a big part of their lives.  She had a love for fashion, shoes and always looking a 10 like her husband would say. She loved her grandkids, family times and get togethers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Flores; son, Javier Flores; parents, Joe and Mary Gomez; and brothers, Joe and Johnny Gomez.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Genesis, 3525 Riverdale Road, Ogden UT 84405. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Genesis. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden. Services entrusted to Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary.
